Celebrate Earth Day at the 5K Run for Clean Air

Over the past 33 years, the 5K Run for Clean Air has grown into Philadelphia’s largest Earth Day Celebration, become a certified green event, added a 3K walk, Kids' Fun Run, and more. Located on the beautiful banks of the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, the Run is a celebration of sustainability, clean air, and improvements in the region’s environmental health. Clean Air Council invites you to run or walk in the 2014 5K Run for Clean Air and join Clean Air Council in making it the largest and most exciting Run yet.

For 2014, the Run’s Earth Day Celebration has moved to the base of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps. Help us celebrate Earth Day in our new iconic location.

The 5K Run for Clean Air has something for everyone to enjoy!

  • 3K Walk: A fun and spirited stroll to celebrate Earth Day.
  • Kids Fun Run: A 1/2 mile fun run for ages 6 - 12 and 250 yard dash for ages 5 & under.

Support Clean Air and Make Local Solar Happen for Earth Day at No Additional Cost to You
The Clean Air Council has worked closely with local energy supplier, Community Energy, for years and has teamed up with them again to offer FREE registration for the 5K Run! Community Energy’s efforts to develop and supply clean, fuel-free, renewable energy generated right here in Pennsylvania have been vital to building a clean energy future for our local communities. You can now switch to Community Energy’s electricity supply, called Solar Builder, and make local solar happen at no additional cost to you.  Switching takes 3 minutes, and is the easiest thing you can do to lower your carbon footprint on Earth Day.

Have your Peco bill ready and sign up here.
